before you book

Everything you need to know.

Prep and first timers

At least the length of a grain of rice, about 2 weeks of growth from a shave. Longer is totally fine. Shorter won’t wax cleanly so it’s worth waiting it out.

A little, but it’s quick! I use techniques and waxes that minimize discomfort. It also gets easier with each appointment as hair grows back finer.

Avoid shaving for at least 2 weeks before. Gently exfoliate 24 to 72 hours before your appointment, not right before or day of. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

You’ll be walked through everything as we go so nothing is a surprise. The whole process is usually 15 to 20 minutes. Comfort and communication are always the priority.

Avoid heat, friction, and tight clothing for 24 hours. Exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week and moisturize daily to keep skin soft and prevent ingrowns. We’ll go over everything together at your appointment.

It depends on the service. Brazilians and leg waxing are typically every 4 to 6 weeks. Underarms and facial services like brows are every 2 to 4 weeks. With consistency your hair grows back finer and sparser over time.

Yes, as long as you wear a clean tampon or cup. You may feel slightly more sensitive during this time.

Waxing is generally safe during pregnancy and I’ll adjust your positioning to make sure you’re comfortable throughout. Just check with your doctor beforehand and give me a heads up when you book so I can take extra care of you.

Workplace Sanitation

Single-use applicators only, no double dipping ever. A completely fresh setup for every client. Gloves worn throughout every service. The suite is cleaned and sanitized between every appointment.

Late Arrivals

If you’re running late just send me a message. I’ll always do my best to accommodate. Depending on the schedule a late arrival may shorten the service time.

Cancellations

Life happens and I get it. Just reach out as soon as you can and we’ll figure it out. Consistent no-shows without notice may require a deposit to rebook.

Client Services

Brazilian and bikini waxing is available for clients with female anatomy. Male waxing services above the waist are welcome.
